Bring your kids for a spooky Halloween special that includes Prokofiev’s famous adaptation of the classic Russian folk tale. With its vivid narration and symphonic cast of animal characters, this suspenseful children’s story is beloved by audiences of all ages. Costumes are encouraged! Our matinée performance is conveniently timed so that your family can enjoy neighborhood trick-or-treating in the evening.

Dvořák’s Cello and New World SymphonY

Handel’s Messiah

Join us for our tradition of performing Handel’s Messiah to ring in the Christmas season! Our orchestra, chorale and four vocal soloists shine in the performance of this 285-year-old sacred oratorio. Don’t forget to join in during the Hallelujah chorus!

Romeo and Juliet — Romantic Journey

Embark upon a romantic journey just in time for Valentine’s Day, with Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture, one of the most iconic and passionate works in the orchestral repertoire, along with George Bizet’s music from the 19th century French play L’Arlésienne. Finally, Finnish composer Jean Sibelius’ Symphony No. 2 in D Major stands as one of the most popular Late-Romantic symphonies, a fitting conclusion to this enchanting evening.
